How to generate names on Namelix

The complete step by step, with real niche and extension examples. From brief to registered domain.

   Describe your business

   In the generator, type keywords or a short description of your business. The more specific, the more coherent the names. E.g. "craft coffee, cozy, specialty beans".

   Example keywords: craft coffee, cozy, specialty beans

   Adjust style and creativity

   Pick one of 13 styles (short viral, evocative, compound, Latin root…) and a creativity level: Familiar (safe and clear), Bold (balanced) or Viral (unique and daring). Or just leave it on Auto.

   Pick up to 3 extensions

   Choose which extensions to check: .com, .io, .ai, .co and 11 more. The check happens in real time, alongside generation — a green badge shows as soon as the domain is free.

   Generate the names

   Each generation brings 20 names with a logo preview (typography and color). It costs 1 credit per name — and every new account starts with 12 free credits, no card needed.

   Decide in the Duel Arena

   Save the best ones and send at least 2 to the Arena. Names face off 1v1 in a knockout tournament — you pick, or let the AI score brandability, memorability and business fit. In the end, one champion remains, with ranking and verdict.

   Register the champion's domain

   The champion comes with free-domain badges. On the Premium Pack, the brand analysis shows strengths, risks and next steps to register (USPTO in the US, INPI in Brazil). Domain registration happens at the registrar of your choice.
